About the Role

We are currently seeking a talented and proactive Property Manager to oversee the operations of our esteemed portfolio of residential properties in Montreal. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for delivering superior customer service, optimizing property performance, and fostering a sense of belonging among residents within our vibrant communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field preferred.


  • Minimum of 3 years of property management experience, preferably in multifamily residential or mixed-use properties.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving common goals.


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.


  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Knowledge of Quebec's Residential Tenancies Act, condominium regulations, and building codes.


  • RPA or CPM certification is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and resident relations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable living experience for our residents.

  • Implement effective leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates and maximize rental income, while adhering to local market trends and regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise a dedicated team of on-site staff, providing guidance, training, and support to uphold our company's standards of excellence and professionalism.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement, and oversee the timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Develop and monitor annual operating budgets, track expenses, and revenue performance, and implement cost-saving measures to optimize property financial performance.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with residents, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and organizing community events and initiatives to promote resident engagement and satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of quality services and repairs, while adhering to budgetary constraints and quality standards.

  • Stay abreast of local market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory changes, and implement best practices to enhance property performance and compliance.
